My essay on ‘The Modernist Long Poem and Feminist Projects’, which focuses on Automatic Cross Stitch with Irma Irsara, is included in the latest issue of Long Poem Magazine, 30. LPM was launched at the Barbican Library on November 18th. As Linda Black, the editor, writes: ‘It is always such a pleasure to hear the poems come alive’. Readers included Simon Maddrell, Graham Mort, Judith Amanthis, Katherine Pierpoint, Simon Collings, Ian Seed, Robert Minhinnick, Andrew Nightingale and Peter Daniels.
